Maybe solidish plans? Hopefully.

I think I've got it figured out now.  Take my three classes this semester, try to get a job.  Work for the summer and fall, take psychology either in summer or fall, transfer to UW-M for spring, then the fall after that maybe do hair, either at the school here, or back by the lake, or do a two year apprenticeship by the lake where I could live with my aunt and uncle and be a live-in nanny for their kids.  I think I'm getting better at this planning for the future thing.  I think.

In other news, I just got my cartilage pierced today!  It didn't really hurt that much, even though the back didn't go on, then fell down my shirt and the girl had to get a new backing and put it on by hand.  She seemed really surprised that it didn't hurt.  Guess that's just my high pain threshold at work.  We got free suckers too!  I had Stasia and Moxy with me.  Then we went and looked at dresses and Stasia mentioned that her school has a homecoming, so I got a dress from the cheapskate rack so I can go to the dance with her.  I also got shoes, but then I noticed that a different store has a sale going on, but we had to leave to get Stasia home on time, so I'm going back next week to see if there are any shoes I like better at the other store that are cheaper than the ones I got, so then I'd get those and return the ones I got even though they're really nice.

All in all, a good day.  My ear hurts though.

New plans! Yay!

I've randomly decided that I want to be a hairstylist.  I can be an apprentice for it at a tech school very far from my current location.  Stasia (one of my most favorite people ever!) says I should go for it, so go for it I shall.

In other news, another friend, Kiwi-Kiew, has returneth from the UK.  I hope she got me a hat.  We do a cooking show thing together that we put on YouTube.  Stasia's sister did it with me while Kiwi-Kiew was gone, but it just wasn't the same (sorry Nala).

I think if I did the apprenticeship thing I'd want to get a roommate, because living alone is creepy.  Stasia said to bring a cat with me, but cats aren't that reassuring.  They just tell you that the weird noise you just heard is definitely not a mouse.

Hopefully I won't change my mind again before next fall!

The beginning of spring semester looks bleak

I am RISE.  I'm nineteen.  I have no idea what I want to do with my life.  I thought I wanted to make movies, so I went to tech school for visual communications.  I hated that.  This semester I'm taking gen-eds, which I'll probably also hate.  I start the semester on the 19th.  Yay.  My brother isn't going back to school for two more weeks, so we have to share a car.  That means he always takes my car, so I have nothing to drive.  I live in the middle of nowhere, so having nothing to drive means I can't get anywhere, so I can't hang out with my friends.

This semester I hope I find something to do.  I don't have a job because I don't like work.  The only thing I really like is playing my bass.  I want to start a band, but none of my friends play any instruments.  The ones who are into music are too busy and the rest only listen to whatever crap is being played on the radio.  I've decided that this semester I will learn to play the drums and guitar.  We'll see how that goes.

I think next spring I'll probably transfer to a different school.  In a city where there are things to do.  I have no idea what I'll do next fall.  I definitely don't want to take more classes at tech school.  I think I'll have taken all the gen-eds that will transfer anyway.

I've decided to get a dog or two at some point.  I'm thinking of calling one Winston Sneedham-Barnes, because it will probably be a hyperactive Border Collie puppy, and all hyperactive puppies should have pretentious british names.  I also need new cats, as I'm down to three and two of them don't really work as barn cats.  I don't know how many I'll get, but since one of the current cats is named Kreacher, I'm thinking Winky and Dobby would be good names for two more.

Getting a life shouldn't be so difficult.
